Amy, female, neutered, born 02.2021, medium size (26kg)

Amy was adopted when she was 2 months old from Ecarisaj Cluj. Since then, she exclusively lived inside the house with her family which included a teenage girl. Sadly, her family moved to another country and couldn’t take her with them. As the only option, they wanted to take her back to the public shelter. We could not imagine something worse than her being abandoned in that place again so we convinced them not to take her back and we offered to take care of her and find her a new family and they agreed to that eventually.

She is very well behaved inside, doesn’t chew on anything else but her toys, doesn’t bark or cry, as she is used to stay alone for longer periods of time. She is also okay with car rides, she is not sick or agitated.

Amy is kind and loving with people. Never growls, not even at the vet. You can pick her up when needed (if you are strong enough). She also knows basic commands such as sit or shake paw.

She is not very used to the lead and walking peacefully as she mostly stayed in a yard when outside and was not taken out on walk through the city. She is also a bit fearful in the street with so many people and noises. We are working on it and we are trying to show her more of the outside world.

She is okay with cats and most dogs, she tents to be afraid of larger dogs, but she plays nicely with most of the dogs she knowns. She lived with Yuki for a few months and they were best friends.
